The Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) at the University of Victoria offers intensive week-long workshops on a variety of tools, methodologies, and theoretical frameworks for integrating digital humanities into your research and teaching. In 2014, UC Berkeley was a sponsor of the Institute, offering free or discounted tuition for the ten faculty members and graduate students who attended a wide range of workshops. At a brown bag lunch event at BCNM Commons on 10/2 (12-1 PM), four graduate students who attended DHSI will speak about the course they took and how it has impacted their research and/or teaching:
