The Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) at the University of Victoria offers intensive week-long workshops on a variety of tools, methodologies, and theoretical frameworks for integrating digital humanities into your research and teaching. In 2014, UC Berkeley was a sponsor of the Institute, offering free or discounted tuition for the ten faculty members and graduate students who attended a wide range of workshops.

The Social Sciences Data Lab (356 Barrows) offers training and consulting to students and researchers interested in sharpening their technical skills and getting involved with data-driven research. DH Projects in the Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program, Deadlines Extended to September 12th

Since its beginnings in 2001, the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) at the University of Victoria has grown to become a leading institute for training in the digital humanities (DH).
