The Spring 2016 DH Fellows lecture series drew to a close Friday, April 29, with the respective presentations of Political Science PhD candidate Rochelle Terman and Associate Professor of History Cathryn Carson.
Berkeley Prosopography Services (BPS) successfully demonstrated the recently implemented end-to-end integration of a toolkit for prosopographical research last week.
At the end of April 2015, Camille Villa will be departing the Digital Humanities at Berkeley program to pursue new directions in her career.
Camille got involved with digital humanities as an undergraduate. One of her first major contributions to Berkeley’s digital humanities program was suggesting the Free Speech Movement as the topic for a spring 2014 hackathon. The resulting #HackFSM event is still talked about today.

The Art Libraries Society of North America recently reviewed the site, noting the “high level of scholarship” Honig displays throughout her entries, yielding, in combination with the site’s “exemplary” design, an “indispensable scholarly resource.” The review's final thoughts celebrate scholarly excellence and the potential of the digital:
